Both victims in Dover murders were strangled to death

DOVER - The wife and father who died at the hands of a Dover man were strangled to death, according to an autopsy performed on Wednesday.

Jeramie Colella, 44, has been charged with second-degree murder for causing the death of his wife, Joanna Colella, 43, and his father, Francis Colella, 69, who was said to have been visiting the couple.

Their bodies were discovered at 18 Tideview Drive in Dover early on Monday.

Both Joanna and Francis Colella died as a result of manual strangulation, according to today's statement from New Hampshire Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald.
