MILTON - A car with two people inside rolled over Friday night on Route 16 near Exit 18 in Milton.

The two motorists were able to get out of the car before first-responders arrived to find the vehicle on its roof.

Whether they were injured or not was still unknown as of this report.

Milton Fire and Rescue referred all inquiries to State Police Troop A in Epping.

Meanwhile, the trooper who worked the accident, said he could not release any information and that a press release should be forthcoming later today.

The accident was reported around 8:30 p.m. and shut down the highway for a period of time, according to Northeast Fire Alerts.
