ROCHESTER - Carlton "Carl" J. Fogarty, Sr., 90, of 2 Seasons Lane, died Sunday, December 10, 2017, at the Rochester Manor after a period of failing health. He was born July 14, 1927 in Dover, N.H., the son of the late Anslem and Mildred (Meserve) Fogarty.
Carl served in the Navy in the South Pacific during WWII. He has resided in this area all of his life and was a shoe-worker having worked at Jameson Shoe Company. He enjoyed working on cars.
Members of his family include his wife of 46 years, Helen (Calvin) Fogarty; four children, Carlton J. Fogarty, Jr., his wife Allison, and Aleita Fogarty, all of Rochester, Robert Fogarty of Eliot, Maine, Carleen (Fogarty) Plante of Somersworth, N.H.; grandchildren, Cheryl Smith and her fiancée Larry Marino, Alyssa Fogarty, Jordyn and Daniel Fogarty; and many nieces and nephews.
