Carol McIntosh ... enjoyed needlepoint | Carol McIntosh

ROCHESTER - Carol McIntosh, 72, died on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, in her hometown of Rochester, N.H. after a period of declining health.

Carol was born on December 4, 1942, in Rochester at Frisbee Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of Alfred and Frances (Hamilton) McIntosh. Carol graduated in the top of her class at Spaulding High School. She wore many hats in her lifetime. She had many hobbies and loves, including needlepoint, gardening, keeping houseplants, and reading. She took pride in keeping a fastidiously clean home which she very much enjoyed decorating. Carol also loved her pets, a papillion named Gizmo and her current pets, Spooky and Brandy.

Carol is survived by three her three sons; Bruce Cormier, David Cormier, Jr, and Jared Steer. She also had the pleasure of being a grandmother to four grandchildren; David, Brittany, Chase, and Arlo. She was very thankful to have been able to meet and spend time with Arlo as he is her newest grandson, just born in October to Jared and his wife Eliza. Her quick wit, dry sense of humor, feistiness and unconditional love were gifts to all who knew her.
