ROCHESTER - Carol S. Rawski, 90, of 30 Brock Street died Monday, July 27, 2015, at Riverside Rest Home, Dover, N.H. with her family by her side.
She was born Aug. 29, 1924, in Strafford, N.H. the daughter of Ellsworth and Ora (Stanton) Berry. She has resided in the area most of her life and worked many years as a sales clerk for the Sears Company. Carol was a very active member of the First United Methodist Church of Rochester where she was in the Women's Society and a financial secretary office helper. She was also a member of the Crown Point Grange. Her hobbies included embroidering, gardening and ceramics.
The widow of John Rawski who died in 1999, she is survived by son; Donald and wife Pat Rawski of Acton, Maine; daughters, Roberta Pospisil of Boylston, Mass., Cathy Rawski of Rochester; 3 grandchildren, Karen Brodeur, Dereck Rawski, Peter Rawski; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Irma and husband Radford Messenger of Strafford; sister-in-law, Lucille Berry, Rochester and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her great grandson; Tucker Brodeur; sister, Sara Balcom and brother, John Berry.
