ROCHESTER - Paul Bougie and Jason Gagnon will be opening Rochester's newest used car dealership in January on the former site of the Just in Time Diner across from Market Basket Plaza.

Rides of Rochester will be an under-$5,000 used car dealership that will hopefully benefit from its prime location, Bougie said.

Gagnon and Bougie, both lifetime Rochester residents, have been associated with auto repair and body work for much of their working lives. They said they will start off just selling vehicles, but hope to add servicing and financing down the road.

The two tore down the former Pete's Variety building to make way for future stock.

They said they expect to open in January with about 20 vehicles on the lot and promise they'll stand behind their vehicles, too.

"We'll sell everything under book value," Gagnon said.
