Cases, hospitalizations continue to mount but no deaths surge for now

CONCORD - DHHS announced 493 new positive test results for COVID-19 on Saturday.

The cases showed a PCR test positivity rate of 2.2 percent and include 52 minors and 27 from Strafford County.

DHHS also announced another death related to COVID-19, a Hillsborough County man over 60.

There are currently 116 individuals hospitalized with COVID-19 for an overall hospitalization rate of 5 percent, down one percent from earlier this month.

Local current cases stand at 81 in Rochester, 75 in Dover, 25 in Somersworth, 20 in Farmington, 14 in Barrington, 13 in Milton and five in Strafford.
