I cannot be more delighted with this surprise addition to the grounds at the Garage in Rochester NH. Thank You to the boys in charge for the sand. With the entertainment lineup planned, there is no doubt more people kicking off their shoes to dance this Summer!
But before we get to the great lineup for this weekend a special message from Texas Pete's Jerry Drouin regarding last Sunday's fund-raiser to help an infant who is very sick.
A message of thanks...."Once again I want to give a huge shout out to the residents of Rochester and the surrounding areas. You all really are the best! The benefit for Greyson last Sunday at the Garage at the Governor's Inn raised over $5,000! This was so needed and so greatly appreciated by Greyson's family.
Metal Heads at the Lilac Mall sponsored the event with a very generous donation. The American Legion and Rolling Smiles also made generous donations! All of you who came out to support the event and donated money, you are all so amazing! Heidi Peters worked the door and all the raffle sales by herself, on such a hot day with no breaks! She did an incredible job!
All the bands, Brian Munger, The Coolers, Mystik Angel (who donated a signed guitar by the band along with an amp, cord, picks, shot glasses etc, an entire package to be raffled off), Texas Pete, Louisiana Rain - A Tribute to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and Rosie were all amazing!
Thanks to Mike Frampton and Travis Barton for sitting in contributing to the music. They all donated their time and talent. Jimmy and Al running sound and lugging gear on this hot day made everyone sound great!
