ROCHESTER - The first meeting of the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce Raffle Bash Committee was held last week with already some new wrinkles added to the annual chamber fund-raiser to be held again at the Governor's Inn.
The date has been set for Friday, Aug. 14, with the grand prize remaining at either $10,000 or a brand new Harley Davidson motorcycle.
The theme of this year's event will be "A Night at the Movies," with participants invited to dress up as their favorite hero or heroine from their favorite Hollywood classic.
Another new addition to the festivities will be a chance for a special "early bird" prize of $250 for anyone who buys their $100 ticket for the Raffle Bash by June 10.
A single $100 ticket allows admission and dinner for two individuals and a chance at the grand prize.
A reverse drawing determines the winner.
