ROCHESTER - Charles Edward "Tuna" Leonard, 50, died peacefully at his home on Saturday, June 17, 2017. He was born April 24, 1967, in Rochester, the son of Stanley and the late Arlene (Treadwell) Leonard.
He was a lifelong resident of Rochester and a graduate of Spaulding High School, Class of 1986. He played high school football and went on to play football at Western New England College. He was a customer service representative at the National Visa Center.
Charlie was past president of the Rochester Jaycees and NH Jaycees, ambassador of U.S. Jaycees and bestowed the highest honor as senator and life member of Junior Chamber International.
Charlie leaves behind his father Stanley, his sister Gail, his brothers, all of Rochester; Steven and his wife Donna, Andrew and his wife Kathy, Wayne and his wife Deborah, James and his fiancé Cheryl Roy, many nieces and nephews; and his best friend Sam Bernier and his wife Laurie.
