Children's Museum Car or Cash Raffle fund-raiser extended through August

DOVER - The Children's Museum of New Hampshire's Car or Cash Raffle Fundraiser has been extended through August. There will still only be 725 tickets sold, but the winner will now be chosen on Saturday, August 29, 2020. "Because of the pandemic, we are behind in the number of tickets we've been able to sell, so we're just giving it a bit more time," shared Jane Bard, CMNH President.
The Museum hasn't been open to the public since the end of March, but staff continue the hard work of maintaining and updating exhibits, and providing educational and fun activities through video and social media.
Tickets can be purchased online for $100 at www.childrens-museum.org. One lucky winner will get to choose between a black 2020 Nissan 370Z coupe (MSRP $35,215), or a metallic grey 2020 Nissan Leaf S model 100% electric car (MSRP $34,610), or $20,000 cash.
"We're waiting to finalize the details of drawing the winning raffle ticket, and much of that will depend on state guidelines in August," said Bard. "We do know that the winner will be drawn on Saturday, August 29th, either at a live event, or a virtual one. We'll let everyone know which as we get closer to August."
The museum wishes to thank its Car or Cash Raffle sponsors including Port City Nissan, Z107, 96.7 News Radio, Rock 101, and the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport. "And we thank all of you who have purchased raffle tickets. We know this is a difficult time for everyone, and we appreciate all the support as we continue to work towards our mission to actively engage families in hands-on discovery."
