ROCHESTER - If you like your chili cheesy, you'll definitely be a fan of the chili at Porter's Pub, where no spoonful of chili goes sans cheese.
We just got a cup for $6.95, but it was enough to keep us warm while standing out and about for an hour during Rochester's Christmas Tree lighting ceremony on Friday.
But back to the chili, which had green peppers, beans, plenty of ground beef and just the right degree of heat and of course, the aforementioned copious amount of a mild cheddar cheese.
A bowl is just two bucks more.
The atmosphere at Porter's Pub is very laid back, a great place to just chill, and the service is always prompt and cordial, too.
With the cup of chili, a beer, tax and tip, the whole tab was like $13.

Porter's Pub is located at 19 Hanson St. in downtown Rochester.
