Church sets Fat Tuesday feast for February 28

ROCHESTER - The First Church Congregational will hold two events this month, including a Books 'n' Puzzles sale on Feb. 18 and a Fat Tuesday meal with silent auction on Feb. 28.

The Books 'n Puzzle sale will be held from 7:30-11 a.m. with prices ranging from 50 cents or 3/$1, and children's stuff just 25 cents.

The Fat Tuesday feast goes from 4:30-6:30 p.m. and will include a yummy meal including decadent desserts for only $7. Anyone can bid on silent auction items before, during or after they eat. A drawing for a Cajun-style alligator gift basket goes off at 6:30 p.m., but folks need not be present to win. Basket tickets, $1 (6/$5).
