City man among several either arrested or wanted on drug trafficking charges

DOVER - A Rochester man is among eight suspected drug dealers in the area who have either been arrested or have warrants out for their arrest following a several-months-long investigation by the Strafford County Drug Task Force, it was announced today.

Tyler Canney, with a last known address, of 479 Gonic Road, Rochester, has an arrest warrant against him for alleged sale of the controlled drug fentanyl. Canney is currently being sought by the task force.

Others in the area that were arrested and their charges include:

Joel Barlow, 31, of 1 Abbey Ln. Apt. 36, in Dover for sale of the controlled drug crack cocaine. He is currently being held at the Strafford County House of Corrections on $10,000.00 cash bail.

Candice Pownall, 47, of 6 Elliott Park, Dover, for sale of the controlled drug methamphetamine. She was released on $5,000.00 Personal Recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the Strafford County Superior Court next month.

Cushaw Barnett, 43, of 1 Abbey Lane, Dover, for sale of the controlled drug cocaine. He was released on $5,000 Personal Recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the Strafford County Superior Court next month.

Shannon Swett, 39, of 50 New Rochester Road, Dover, for sale of the controlled drug heroin. She was released on $5,000 Personal Recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the Strafford County Superior Court next month.

The following individuals have active Strafford County Drug Task Force warrants and like Canney, are being sought:

Justin Brito, 20, LKA address of 225 Main St, Somersworth, for sale of the controlled drug heroin.

Robie Minoose, 47, LKA of 23 Chapel St, Dover, for sale of the controlled drug cocaine.

Christina Moore, 35, LKA of 277 Main St, Farmington, for sale of the controlled drug heroin.

If the public knows their whereabouts they are asked to contact local police departments.

As a result of these investigations, the SCDTF will work with the Strafford County Attorney's Office for the appropriate referrals to the Strafford County Drug Court Program.
