ROCHESTER - Two Rochester residents are under arrest today after they allegedly forced their way into a city apartment and assaulted an occupant.

Larry W. Regan, 43, and Kelly A. Sullivan, 31, both of 36 Farmington Road, #1B7, were both charged with felony burglary; Regan was also charged with resisting arrest.

Police say they were called to 36 Farmington Road at Northgate Apartments around 7:40 a.m. for a reported disturbance, and found that the two suspects had barged their way into the apartment and assaulted an occupant.

The incident does not appear to be a random act, and the involved parties knew each other, police said.

Regan and Sullivan are being held on $3,500 and $2,500 cash bail, respectively. They will be video arraigned Tuesday at the 7th Circuit Rochester Court.

The victim who was attacked had minor injuries, and was not transported to the hospital.
