ROCHESTER - A Rochester woman was arrested for drunken driving on Sunday after police say she crashed her vehicle into a parked car on Jackson Steet.

Police say the crash occurred around 11:45 p.m. when Angelique Pena, 23, was driving Hyundai Sonata and struck a Hyundai Accent that was legally parked on the side of the road.

EMS responded to the scene where it had been reported Pena was intoxicated and had sustained an injury to her head.

Pena was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital for treated.

Both vehicles sustained heavy front end damage and had to be towed from the scene.

As a result of the investigation, Pena was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and was issued an arraignment date later this month.
