Citywide parking ban goes into effect tonight at 10

ROCHESTER - A citywide parking ban is in effect from 10 p.m. tonight through 6 a.m. on Friday in all downtown areas defined below.

Downtown area Rochester
South Main Street from Lambert to North Main Street
North Main St. From South Main Street to Maple Street
Wakefield Street from South Main to Union Street
Portland Street from Columbus Ave to Charles Street
All of Union Street, Bridge Street, Hanson Street, Central Ave, Liberty Street, Granite St. and Davyanne Locke Lane

Downtown area East Rochester
Main Street from Autumn Street to Cocheco Ave.

Downtown area Gonic
Main Street from Colby Street to Pickering Road
All of Colby Street
Church Street from Main Street to rear entrance to Gonic Mill
Railroad Avenue from Pickering Rd to the Gonic School
