LEBANON, Maine - Central Maine Power line and tree crews made huge inroads on Sunday restoring power to more than 1,400 households in Lebanon, more than 500 in Berwick and almost a thousand in Acton.
Still, as of today, customers without power in all of York County is about 9,000, including 621 in Acton, 380 in Lebanon and 30 in Berwick.
Around 11 a.m. on Sunday CMP sent out an alert that power would be restored by noon on Tuesday, 10 hours earlier than had been announced Saturday.
Two hours later a large swath of Lebanon was back on the grid.
Meanwhile, New Hampshire communities in the Greater Rochester area were all back on line at 100 percent today.
A statement from CMP sent out Saturday noted that the storm resulted in 5,100 individual incidents of fallen trees and downed power lines.
