Condition of injured city motorcyclist uprgraded

PORTLAND, Maine - The Rochester motorcyclist seriously injured last month in a collision with a car on Milton Road in Rochester has finally had his condition upgraded to satisfactory today after exactly two weeks in either critical or serious condition at the Portland hospital where he was Medfilighted immediately after the crash.

Bradley Locke, 51, of Rochester, was struck on Sept. 17 when a car driven by an elderly woman turned left into the Rochester Residence Inn on Milton Road as Locke was headed south on his 2002 Harley Davidson.

He was Medflighted to Maine Medical Center in Portland. The exact nature of his injuries has not been released by Maine Med due to privacy laws.

The woman was cited by police for failure to yield.
