ROCHESTER - Cornelius Stanley, 72 years old, of Rochester, N.H. died on Sunday, April 19, 2015, at his residence with his family by his side.

Born in Fall River, Mass., on February 17 1943; the son of Maurice and Mabel (Bachand) Stanley. He was a lifelong resident of Rochester/Gonic N.H. In his early years, he worked with his father in the paving business. He worked in the shoe shop industry as a lead person for Encore Shoe and also moved on to be a manager at Colby Footwear. He was a Certified Welder and worked at SeaFrost as a machinist. He retired from Cambridge Tool North as a Waste Water Technician.

Cornelius is survived by his wife Rachel Stanley of 55 years; and his four children that he was very proud of, two daughters, Vicky Stanley, Jean Glidden and husband Dan; Two sons, Neal Stanley and wife Marcy and Donald Stanley and wife Lisa; He also has 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents and four brothers, Leonard, Frederick, Robert and Job. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family, friends and relatives. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and his love of helping others and having a good time
