Cynthia Alice Littlefield ... retired from USPS

ROCHESTER - Cynthia Alice Littlefield of Rochester died peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Jan. 9, 2022.

Cynthia was born in Maine on September 2, 1938, to Ted and Alice Howe of Waterford Maine.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Rochester.

In addition to being a home maker while her children where young, she is also remembered for her time as a substitute teacher in the Rochester school system. Cynthia was an employee of the United State Postal Service for years. She retired from the USPS in 1999. She enjoyed helping her customers and getting to know so many people in the town of Rochester.

She enjoyed the outdoors and spending time at her camp in Waterford, Maine. She loved being there with family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She enjoyed many pleasant hours on the porch watching and listening to the birds and watching the seasons change.

She was predeceased by her husband Paul, of over 60 years.

She is survived by a brother, Robert Howe of Ocean Shores Washington son Bruce and his wife Lynn of Rochester, a daughter Barbara and her husband Dave Miller of Loveland, Colo., three grandchildren Kristin Wing and her husband Tim, Brent Littlefield and his wife Mariah, Michael Miller of Wellington. Colo. and four delightful great grandchildren, Amelia & Jack Littlefield, Madilyn & Charlotte Wing.

Cynthia wanted to express her thanks to Seacoast Cancer Center, especially Dr. Sonneborn and staff, as well as Dr. Decker and staff for their exceptional care over the years.

The family would also like to thank Wentworth Hospice for the amazing care and compassion they showed Cynthia and the family during this difficult time
