Donald Howe Brown Jr. ... enjoyed hiking; at 62

LEBANON, Maine - Donald Howe Brown, Jr, (DJ) 62, recently of Lebanon, died on June 12, 2025. He was born June 9, 1963, in Exeter, NH, the son of Donald H Brown Sr, and Mary Dana (Washburn) Brown.

DJ grew up in North Hampton, NH, and in addition to living throughout the seacoast area and southern Maine, he spent time living in the Lake Tahoe area of Nevada and California.

From growing up playing pond hockey and Little League baseball, to cheering for the New England sports teams, DJ was an active and avid sports fan.

Always ready to put his hands to work, he loved cars and worked as a mechanic, spent time working in carpentry, and most recently in tree services.

He loved spending time outdoors, hiking and climbing, whether in New England or out west, and he remained a faithful deer hunter each season, traveling cross country as necessary to do so.

He is survived by his son, Donald III and wife Kerri, and grandson Daniel of Hampton, NH; his mother, Mary Dana Washburn of Stratham, NH; brothers David of Rumney, NH, Dan of Stratham, Darryl of North Hampton, and Derrick of Atlanta, GA; and many loving aunts and uncles, cousins, and nieces and nephews from coast to coast.
