LEBANON - Donna Pichette, 70, died on Tues., Feb. 23, 2016, at Portsmouth Hospital following a brief illness.
Born Nov. 2, 1945, in Portland, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Doris ( Jacobs ) Corson.
Donna worked for 31 years as office manager at Red's Shoe Barn. She was a member of the Lebanon/North Berwick Baptist Church.
Donna was a kind, generous, funny woman who loved spending time with her family. She loved her son very much, and was instrumental in helping her son's family in their journey through a deep loss, spiritually through her faith as well creating new memories of summers filled "up at camp."
Donna enjoyed reading, summer concerts at Alton Bay, and church gatherings. She also got great joy in volunteering for the Deaf/Deaf Blind Ministry in Los Angeles, California. Donna loved shoes and had an extensive shoe collection! Her cat Myra brought her great happiness, as well as her" grand dog," Baby Ben.
Members of her family include her son, James Pichette and his wife Jane of Lebanon, Maine; three grandchildren, Sara, Zack, and Becca; six great grandchildren, Hannah, Brody, Talon, Dakotah, Jayden and Ily; her sister, Norma Phillips; nephew, Robert Phillips and wife Esther and their children Colin, Casie and Cody; nephew, Rodney Phillips and wife Vicky and their children Andrew, Nathan and Amiee; niece, Robyn Pugh and husband Scott and their children Brian and Niki.
Donna was predeceased by her husband Albert Pichette in 2010; granddaughter Becca Watts in 2013; mother-in-law Rose Pichette in 2014; and brother-in-law Wilbur Phillips in 2015.
