Police say that Brice R. Charest, 36, of 26 Mineral Park Drive, Dover, entered the rear door of Papa Jay's Pizzeria on Broadway around 7:10 p.m. on Wednesday and threatened employees with a handgun before stealing cash from the business cash register.

Charest was last seen fleeing through the rear door toward railroad tracks north of Papa Jay's. The handgun was not discharged during this incident, and no injuries were reported, according to a Dover Police press release sent out on Thursday.

Charest was charged with one count of Robbery, a Class A felony, punishable by up to 15 years in state prison. He is being held at the Strafford County House of Correction and is scheduled for arraignment in Dover District Court at 9 a.m. today.
