Dover man pleads guilty to robbing downtown bank

James Aubin

CONCORD - A Dover man pleaded guilty in federal court on Tuesday to robbing a Dover bank last year.

According to court documents and statements made in court, on July 12, James Aubin, 46, entered the Bank of New Hampshire on Central Avenue and demanded money from the teller, who gave him an amount of cash.

After images from surveillance videos were shown on local news outlets, investigators were able to positively identify Aubin as the robber.

After his arrest, Aubin admitted to robbing the bank, officials say. He is scheduled to be sentenced on July 31.
