CONCORD - The Attorney Generals Office today announced that Dover Police are investigating the deaths of two adults in Dover.

The Dover Police Department responded to a single-family residence in Dover on Tuesday to conduct a welfare check and found two deceased adults inside the home.

Although the investigation is in the early stages, police say there does not appear to be any threat to the general public in connection with the deaths. Autopsies are expected tomorrow.

At this time, authorities are investigating the deaths as a possible murder and suicide.
