Dover, Somersworth see huge case spikes; 3 deaths reported in Strafford County

CONCORD - Current case numbers continue to surge with Dover, Rochester and Somersworth all at pandemic highs with 254, 157 and 70 respectively. Other local numbers show Barrington at a pandemic high of 32, Strafford at 22 and Farmington and Milton both at 19. Strafford County saw 76 newly identified cases.

The local surge is especially troubling in Somersworth which has seen a doubling in cases in the past week and Dover which has seen almost a 40 percent increase in the same timeframe.

Meanwhile, DHHS announced 912 new positive test results for COVID-19 statewide and 24 additional deaths, including three from Strafford County, one of them a man under 60.
