EAST LEBANON - A Creamery Hill Road home was ravaged by an early morning fire on Tuesday.

Lebanon Rescue got the call around 2:30 a.m. and arrived at 170 Creamery Hill Road to find the home fully involved.

The structure, which was occupied by adjacent used car dealer Paul Martel and his family, was totally destroyed.

Two occupants who were at the home at the time were outside and OK when firefighters arrived.

They were treated and released from Southern Maine Health Care in Sanford.

The Martel's dog, Brutus, also escaped the flames.

A photo taken Tuesday shows heavy damage the building suffered.

No fire official was immediately available, but according to Kurt Zeller, who owns the house, the source of the blaze was an electrical issue.

The fire went to a second alarm, with Sanford, North Berwick, Berwick, Acton, Alfred, Shapleigh and the air van from Somersworth, N.H., responding.

Milton provided station coverage for Lebanon.
