MILTON - Edward James Markey, 70, of Milton died on Friday, October 16, 2015, at his home.
Born February 3, 1945, in Woonsocket, R.I., and raised in East Providence, R.I., Edward was the son of Adelaide and Ted Markey.
Edward lived in Attleboro, Mass., and owned and operated Tri State Remodeling for over 20 years prior to moving to Milton, opening Beaks Ice Cream AKA "The Pink Place".
Edward is survived by his wife of 40 years Patricia Markey of Milton; son Edward James Markey. Jr. and his wife Peg of Fort Stewart, Ga.; sons Patrick LeBlanc and Eric LeBlanc, both of Milton, N.H.; daughter, Tricia Bobel and husband Jason of Lakeland, Fla.; 9 grandchildren; mother-in-law, Patricia LeBlanc of Wrentham, N.H.
