Elderly woman hurt in head-on Everett Turnpike crash succumbs to injuries

NASHUA - An elderly woman seriously hurt when her vehicle was struck while going the wrong way on the F.E. Everett Turnpike earlier this month has succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.

Francis Parrott, 83, of Merrimack, was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of the turnpike and collided head on with a pick-up truck. woman around 10:50 a.m. on April 8.

She was transported to Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, where she died on Sunday.
