Entertainment Zone proposal to get full airing March 22

ROCHESTER - Rochester's Entertainment Zone Committee will hold a meeting March 22 to discuss and explore issues surrounding a recent proposal.

There has been significant public interest in the Entertainment Zoning proposal for the City of Rochester, and meetings like this are intended to clarify the issue and educate the public while allowing for a full course of public input and discussion.

The meeting will be held at 5 p.m. at Rochester City Hall, 31 Wakefield St., in the City Council Chambers

AGENDA items include:

  1. Planning Department or Planning Board explain why the zone is an overlay and expanded.
  2. Committee to discuss and decide to retain or remove the overlay district and expanded area.
  3. Public input and discussion.
  4. Other changes and committee discussion.
