Estelle Donlon ... enjoyed golf, watching Judge Judy

MILTON - Estelle Ida Ouellette Donlon, 84, after being so very strong through years of struggling with COPD, died on Friday Feb. 5, 2021 in her home quickly and peacefully with her loving family by her side, just the way she wanted it.
She rejoins the man that meant the whole world to her - James "Jeep" Donlon - her husband of 55 years, and her middle child Kenneth Richard Donlon.
The third of five children, she was born in Somersworth on Sept. 13, 1936. She was a graduate of Holy Rosary High School. She married Jeep in 1958 and started her family on Whitehall Road in Rochester while enjoying their summers at their Rye Beach house. She worked at Wellsweep Acres, then in 1977 they moved to Milton where they owned and operated Lakehurst Cottages. There, in "God's Country," they established a strong community connection and many lifelong friendships.
After raising their family, they took up golf. She got hooked and they became longtime members at Rochester Country Club. For over 25 years they enjoyed wintering at Grand Shores West in North Reddington Beach, Fla., where they made friends that became a second family.
She loved and appreciated all opportunities to eat good food! Whether it was dining out, a Great Jeep's Burger on the grill, cooking for family, entertaining groups of friends, or simply picking up the phone to order Pizza Nook, she was passionate.
She also enjoyed her crafts, jewelry, working in her garden, party boat rides around the lake, Caribbean cruises, travelling; watching the Patriots, tennis, golf, the Triple Crown horse races, and Judge Judy; playing cards with friends, playing Candy Crush (and God knows what other games) on her phone, Grand Shores sunsets; and for the last 11 years looking forward to daily visits with her grand dog Tucker.
Most of all she loved her family! Her son James and wife Noreen Donlon of Rye Beach; daughter Julie Donlon and her fiancé Paul Carignan of Milton; grandson Jim Jim, his wife Jessica, and beloved great granddaughter Jaylyn Donlon; many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. If she ever told you what to do or how to do it, then you are in the extended family and friends' section.
