ROCHESTER - The Lilac City will become host to a second Family Dollar store later this spring when the discount chain giant opens its new store on Milton Road across the street from O'Keefe and Martin's Discount Store. Family Dollar will keep its present store at the Globe Plaza where it co-anchors the strip mall with Planet Fitness. The square footage of the new store is expected to be about the same as the one at the Globe. By 2011, Family Dollar had more than 7,000 stores in 44 states, according to wikipedia.com.
