Farmington man dies from injuries in motorcycle ax

SOUTH LEBANON - The Farmington, N.H., man involved in a motorcycle crash on Saturday has died at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

Randal Goslin, 40, was the the 22nd motorcyclist killed on Maine roads this year.

Troopers said speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.

His motorcycle slammed into a utility pole along Route 202 near the state line, his body thrown several feet from the crash onto nearby River Road.

He died at Maine Medical Center.

State police say two more motorcylists were killed Monday afternoon when their motorcycle was struck by a pickup truck.

The crash was on Route 113 in Hiram about 2 p.m.

Troopers said the pickup was in the wrong lane. The driver of the truck was hospitalized.

The two additional deaths bring the motorcycle fatality count for the year to 24. Eleven motorcycle deaths were reported for all of 2014.
