ROCHESTER - A Farmington man who allegedly fled from police after a traffic stop near Spaulding High and then crashed his pickup into two parked vehicles at a Rochester business earlier this month has been arrested.
Nicholas LaPanne, 42, of 894 Meaderboro Road, was charged with two felonies, including reckless conduct and conduct after an accident; and several misdemeanors, including a traffic violation, aggravated DWI, criminal mischief and disobeying a police officer.
LaPanne turned himself on Wednesday after he learned there was a warrant for his arrest.
It was back on Oct. 7 that a motorcycle officer conducted a traffic stop on LaPanne on Wakefield Street near Spaulding High School.

As a second officer stopped at the scene and conferred with the motorcycle officer, LaPanne allegedly sped south on Wakefield in his Chevrolet pickup truck, eventually crashing into two vehicles parked at Tri-City Towing. LaPanne then fled on foot, police said.
LaPanne is currently out on personal recognizance pending his initial arraingment next month.
