Fatal crash reported on Hare Road in Milton; several others injured

MILTON - Milton Police and Milton Fire and Rescue crews are on the scene of a fatal crash that occurred on Hare Road.

Details are still sketchy, but the single-vehicle crash occurred around 10:30 a.m. in the area of 448 Hare Road at the bottom of a hill that is in a section of the road that is not paved.

Two Milton ambulances were seen leaving the scene around 10:45 a.m.

According to Northeast Fire alerts, the accident involved a car into a tree with one victim being ejected from the vehicle. At least four other victims were being evaluated by medical personnel, the Northeast Fire Alerts bulletin stated.

Heavy downpours were reported in the area at the time the crash occurred.

Hare road remains closed to through traffic from Thurston Road to Route 153 while the investigation into the crash continues.
