Fire destroys Lebanon home

LEBANON - A Lebanon house was destroyed on Tuesday after wood stove ashes in a bucket ignited and set the structure ablaze.

Lebanon Firefighters responded to 252 Emery Mills Road around 3:15 p.m. found the house fully involved and launched an exterior attack. As more apparatus and fire personnel arrived, an interior attack was implemented and the fire was extinguished, according to a Lebanon Fire press release.

Responding with Lebanon Fire and Rescue were fire departments from Sanford, Shapleigh, Acton, Alfred, Waterboro, Berwick, North Berwick, South Berwick and Somersworth Fire for the Air Van.
