EAST ROCHESTER - Flossie Greer died peacefully on Thursday, March 24, 2016, at the Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.H. She was born on November 7, 1930, the daughter of Ward and Mary McIntrye.
She lived in Syracuse, N.Y. for many years. Flossie retired from McMillan Book Company after 35 years of loyal service. After retiring, she moved to Virginia and then to New Hampshire.
She is survived by her beloved son, Michael Greer, her dear daughter, Gail Randon, her daughter-in-law, Karen Greer, and son-in-law, Phil Randon. Flossie's other two children, Timothy McKenna and Nancy Verillo preceded her in death. Flossie was also adored and loved by her eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Flossie's greatest joy was her family. She traveled around the country to see her many grandchildren get married, graduate from high school and college and was present at many baby showers. Her apartment was filled with pictures of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was always thrilled to get the latest pictures, cards and letters.
