ROCHESTER - Quality is their recipe, but someone may have thought quantity was lacking.

We may never know what exactly went down at the Wakefield Street Wendy's on Friday, but it was enough to draw a Rochester Police Officer to get things to simmer down.

The call came in to dispatch around 7:35 p.m., with a dispatcher noting that the calling party was arguing with the manager as they made the call.

The caller said they tried to pay for their meal and were asked to leave.

The caller also advised the manager was throwing things and "calling them profanities," dispatcher notes revealed.

Before long an officer arrived, spoke with all the concerned parties and learned the argument started over bacon, that nothing was thrown and the arguments were verbal only. It was also noted that the bacon machine was currently out of service.

No one was injured, no arrests were made and no incident report was filed.

Maybe it was just a case of seasonal stress or someone was just very passionate about their bacon.
