Frisbie unveils lineup for community wellness events

ROCHESTER - Frisbie Memorial Hospital on Tuesday released Winter/Spring Community Wellness Events and Learning Opportunities.

Community Wellness Education Program

Community Wellness Education lectures listed are FREE, and held at the Community Education & Conference Center, located on the hospital campus. Pre-registration is required, and can be made by calling (603) 332-3100 extension 8202, or by visiting frisbiehospital.com/Calendar.

Living Well: Heart Disease

  • February 13, 2014 at 6 p.m.
    Panel discussion including a cardiologist, a cardiac rehabilitation therapist, a nutritionist and a patient diagnosed and living with heart disease.

Nutrition for Longevity

  • March 11, 2014 at 5:30pm
    Kick-Off Nutrition Month by joining us for a cooking demonstration. Learn how to make delicious low-fat meals and desserts. Recipes included!
  • Living Well: COPD
  • April 9, 2014 at 6pm
    Panel discussion featuring a pulmonologist, a physical therapist assistant and a patient living with COPD. Learn how to Live Well with chronic lung disease.

    Living Well: Anxiety and Depression
    May 5, 2014 at 6pm
    Panel discussion featuring a psychiatrist, a social worker, and a patient sharing tips on how to Live Well with anxiety and/or depression.
