ROCHESTER - Geraldine "Gerry" Bass, died peacefully on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, in the presence of her husband of 46 years, Jim Bass of Rochester, N.H.
She is survived by her daughter, Sheryl Bass, of Dover, N.H., and her partner Paula Goff; her son Lt. Col. Jeb Bass (USAF) and daughter-in-law Tara Miller Bass of Okinawa, Japan. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Hannah (15), Ava (12), and Jeb (9).
From humble beginnings, Gerry made an adventurous life for herself, traveling all over the United States and the world with her family. An avid Bingo player, she was famous for her mixed metaphors, love of bad TV, and devotion to animals. Her well-known storytelling never ceased to thrill and amuse. She was extraordinarily loyal to family, friends, and country.
