Get ready to lace up the ice skates for some fun at the Common early next year

ROCHESTER - The Rochester Recreation Department announced on Wednesday that this winter there will be an outdoor skating rink featured at the Rochester Common, which will open to the public early next year.

According to staff, the rink will be free to use and open to people of all ages and skating abilities. Participants are encouraged to bring their own skates and utilize the rink courteously and responsibly. Use of the rink is dependent upon weather conditions, so the public is asked to check the Rec's website and social media pages before coming to skate.
