Gonic man arrested in Milton Road Shell robbery

ROCHSTER - Police arrested a Gonic man on Saturday in connection with last month’s armed robbery of the Milton Road Shell gas station.

Jonathan Wilson, 21, of 288 Blackwater Road, was charged with felony armed robbery and is being held at the Strafford County Jail after refusing bail. His arraignment is set for Monday.

Police indicated more arrests in the case are expected.

The June 25 robbery occurred around 5 p.m. as two armed suspects entered the gas station and convenience store, confronted the clerk brandishing guns and demanded cash.

During the robbery Wilson is alleged to have used a long-barreled handgun, while his accomplice held a sawed-off shotgun.

The brazen daytime robbery occurred as several customers were in the store shopping.

After leaving the store the two were said to have fled on foot, crossed to the other side of Route 125 and headed north toward Milton.

The other suspect in the robbery is described as white, with a heavy build, 5-foot-8 to 6-feet tall, 18-25 years old, blonde hair and last seen wearing a Patriots baseball cap, with a red bandana over his face and a blue shirt with white stripes.

The store was robbed again on July 5 by a lone suspect who threatened the clerk with a knife before leaving with cash.

That suspect is also still at large and is described as a white male in his early 20s, approximately 5'1"-5'6" tall with a slim build. He was wearing a blue Adidas pullover hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, dark shoes, possibly sneakers. He also had a dark blue mask covering the majority of his face, a utility work-style glove on his left hand.
