Gov. Chris T. Sununu has earned a second term

Gov. Chris Sununu

From his reasoned approach to the current pandemic to his staunch opposition to an income or sales tax in the Granite State Gov. Chris Sununu has delivered for New Hampshire.

In contrast, the outright obfuscation by Democrat Dan Feltes is in plain sight on the home page of his own website where it says among other things, NO INCOME TAX just months after he tried to put through a paid family leave plan that would've been an income tax for every working New Hampshire resident. Luckily the governor promptly vetoed it and his veto was upheld.

In the summer of 2019 it took Dan Feltes months to admit that his bail reform plan needed tweaking, that too many criminals were getting cash bail and reoffending over and over and over again.

We think it needs more tweaking, but that's for another editorial.

Gov. Sununu has promised to keep the New Hampshire advantage intact, while Feltes is just giving it lip service.

Dan Feltes means bigger government for New Hampshire and more government handouts on the backs of hard-working Granite Staters.

If you think bigger government is better government vote for Feltes, but if you think the liberty we enjoy in this state is our most important asset you'll re-elect Gov. Sununu.
