ROCHESTER - If you've ever been to the Granite Steak and Grill you know that its ambiance is one of the coziest and most comfortable in the Northern Seacoast.

But with generous luncheon portions of yummy comfort food like bacon man 'n cheese or fantail shrimp, you can enjoy it in the comfort of your own home, knowing you'll have enough for another meal.

And with the sturdy to-go packaging, storage was so easy I could do it all by myself.

Martha loved the different cheeses used in her bacon mac 'n cheese that make it really decadent, while the sundried tomatoes and sautéed baby spinach give it a healthy feel, adding, "It takes away all the guilt of this deliciously cheesy masterpiece."

We had the fantail shrimp and found the seasoning delicate and buttery with just the right amount of basil.

For sides I got a heaping helping of their signature mashed red potatoes and freshly made cole slaw.

With a gluten free roll and butter and two desserts we're talking just over $30.

And it's basically two meals. Winning!

The Rochester Voice is asking everyone to take at least one meal off from cooking weekly during this period of social distancing and support your local restaurants.

By the way I found the atmosphere for our meal very homey!
