Gunstock Resort converts cafeteria into full-service restaurant

GILFORD - Gunstock Mountain Resort opened its newest restaurant, Barrel Bar & Grille, on Friday.

Guests in search of a beverage, a snack or a meal may be surprised this winter when they enter the Stockade Lodge in the Gunstock base area. The former quick-serve cafeteria has been transformed into a full-service restaurant that includes a 20-seat, U-shaped bar.

An expanded kitchen with new equipment allows culinary staff to offer a menu featuring soups, salads, sandwiches and entrees. Open every day and conveniently located between the Panorama and Ramrod lifts, skiers and riders will enjoy ski-in, ski-out access.

A double-sided, indoor/outdoor fireplace is featured on the outdoor deck.
