FARMINGTON, N.H. - Harrison T. "Harry" Norton Sr., 81, died Friday, May 20, 2016, at his home in Farmington, after a period of declining health. He was born June 17, 1934, in Acushnet, Mass., son of Thomas and Ruth (Borden) Norton.
Harry grew up in Acushnet. He had been residing in Farmington for the past 35 years. Harry worked at Brock's Lumber Co., in Rochester, N.H., for many years.
Mr. Norton was a member of the Moose Club in Milton.
His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family and friends in his yard around the fire.
Mr. Norton experienced great loss in his life, with the death of his first wife, Dorothy (Banville) Norton, second wife, Doris (Turgeon) Norton, son, Darren Norton, daughter, Tracy Norton, son, Shawn Norton, son, Scott Norton and a grandson, Jeffrey Rose.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Mark Jutras of Warner, son and daughter-in-law, Harrison T. and Liane Norton Jr., of Middleboro, Mass., daughter-in-law, Cheryl Norton of Middleton, daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Jeffrey Lash of Fall River, Mass., son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Deb Norton of Farmington, daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Ricardo Travares of Fall River, Mass., adopted son and daughter-in-law, William and Brenda Patch of Farmington, (AKC) son, Tucker Norton, (AKC) grandson, Mister Patch, 19 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and some cousins.
