LEBANON - A serious motor vehicle accident was reported on Shapleigh Road on New Year's Eve.

The single-vehicle crash occurred around 10 p.m. in the area of 464 Shapleigh Road.

Lebanon Fire and EMS was reported on scene and evaluating at least one motorist, according to Northeast Fire Alerts.

Officials reported the vehicle crashed into a tree and sustained heavy front-end damage.

There was no immediate word on the cause of the crash on the extent of any injuries.
