Rochester Voice 12 p.m.
OSSIPEE - Hobbs Brewing Company is partnering with The Cupid Project to host a community card-making session this February, bringing creativity, connection, and kindness to local seniors in honor of Valentine's Day. Organizers invite community members to gather at Hobbs locations to create handmade cards that will be distributed to residents of Mountain View Community, the Carroll County Nursing Home in Ossipee. The goal is to brighten the days of senior citizens through heartfelt, personal messages of care. The card-making sessions will take place on Thursday from 5-8 p.m.at Hobbs Brewing Company Taproom at 765 Rt-16, Ossipee;and The Hayloft at Hobbs Tavern - 2415 White Mtn Hwy, West Ossipee NH. Basic card-making supplies will be provided at both events. Participants are also encouraged to bring their own materials - such as stickers, markers, stamps, or decorative paper - to share and help make each card extra special. Both events are open to the public and free to attend. The Cupid Project is known for fostering human connection through handwritten notes and acts of kindness, especially for those who may feel isolated. By teaming up with Hobbs Brewing Company, the initiative expands its reach while reinforcing Hobbs' commitment to community involvement and local outreach.
