Homeless Manchester man dies in explosion, fire inside tent

MANCHESTER - Manchester Fire and Police reported on Saturday that a man perished in an explosion and fire inside his tent.

First responders go the call around 1 p.m. for fire with reported explosion behind 168 Willow St., where a homeless camp existed alongside the railroad tracks.

The fire was extinguished and one adult male was found deceased.

The New Hampshire State Fire Marshal's Office, Manchester Fire Department and Manchester Police Department are investigating the incident. An autopsy was conducted on Sunday, but the results have not been released.

The victim's identity has also not been made public.
